My name is Paulette Norman nee ( Shank). I was born on April 20th 1957 in North Bay Ontario,Canada to Roger and Helene Shank. I am the youngest of 8 children. My mom gave birth to 2 boys and 6 girls. My oldest brother died at birth and therefore I never got to know him,he would have been the oldest of us all. Mom gave birth to my brother Rheal( Ray) on Sept 15th,1940,he has since passed away,he was only 49 yrs old when Ray passed away on June 2nd 1990 at the North Bay General Schollard Site ( Civic). Ray married Nancy in Sept 1973 in Midland Ontario. Ray and Nancy resided in Windsor Ontario. They have a daughter Lisa that was born on April 10th 1980. Ray and Nancy had just seperated on April 7th 1990,thats when Ray moved to North Bay and passed away shortly after. He died from cirrohsiss of the liver.

Mom gave birth to my oldest sister Janet on October 28th,1942. Janet married Clement Piche on December 26th 1959 in North Bay Ontario. Janet and Clem had 6 children in total,2 boys and 4 girls. Janets oldest son Michael was born on May 31st,1960. Michael has 2 children from a relationship he had with a women by the name of Marylynn Couchie. They have a son named Cory and a daughter named Carrie. Carrie has 2 children a boy and a girl. Janet gave birth to a second son named Daniel(Danny).He was born on August 11th 1961. Danny married Linda Foisy on May 12th 1990. They spent their honeymoon in Florida,came back a little sooner then planned as my brother Ray was on his death bed. Danny and Linda have 2 children, Samantha and Nicholas. Janets 3rd born a daughter Brenda passed away at the young age of 16 months old, she died from Thypoid fever. Janets 4th child a daughter Lynn.Lynn was born on December 18th,1963. That was really hard on Janet, she had just lost her baby girl Brenda on NOvember 19th,just 1 month prior to Lynn's birth. Lynn is in a common law relationship with Rick Petteau. Lynn has a daughter Chantal from a previous relationship with Joe Richards. Rick and Lynn have a son together by the name of Tyler. Janets 5th child a daughter Shelley was born on July 6th,1965 in North Bay. Shelley is married to Richard Gauthier, they have 2 children,Matthieu and Emily. They reside in North Bay. They had eloped to Jamaica to get married ,then we had a party for them at Janets house. Janets 6th child a daughter Nicole(Nicky) was born on May 3rd 1970. Nicky has a son named Michael that she had from a relationship with Steve Richards. Janet and Clem have since sold their home at 935 Elizabeth and are now living in a 2 bedroom apartement on Rose Avenue in North Bay.

Mom gave birth to another daughter Noella on December 10th, 1943. Noella is married to Peter Cleroux and they reside in Kemptville Ontario,just about 30 miles from Ottawa. Noella and Peter were married in North Bay on October 12th,1968. Noella and Peter have 2 children,Cheryl and Bobby Cleroux. Cheryl was born on February 17th 1968. She is currently living common law with John Hunt. Cheryl was in 2 relationships prior to this one. She was with her oldest daughter Kayla's father Pete Windsor, but the relationship did not work, but they do remain friends. Cheryl then married George Chenier and they had a son together and his name is Geordie. John and Cheryl have a daughter together and her name is Destiny. John and Cheryl reside in Smithfalls,Ontario. Noella's son Bobby is married to Kim and they have 2 children together, Abbigail and Reagan.They also live in Kemptville where Bobby owns his own building homes and renovations business. Bobby built his own home also.

Mom gave birth to another daughter Yvette on February 24th 1945. Yvette was married to John Osiecki and had 4 children and resided in Manitouwadge Ontario. June (Junie) was Yvettes 1st born daughter she was born on June 1st 1967 and married Norm Ouellette in Elliot Lake Ontario, They have 3 sons together, Jonathan,Michael and Joshua. They now live just outside of Kemptville Ontario. They resided in Manitouwadge for a very longtime. Norm worked there as a miner and June worked in hairdressing. They relocated just outside of Kemptville in 2000. June breeds papillion dogs and sells them and is doing very well at her business. Yvette's second born another daughter Tina was born on January 3rd 1970 in Manitouwadge Ontario. Tina is married to Kirk Tait and they reside in Saskatchewan with their 3 children.. Jessica, Jody and Jeremy and their papillion dog named Elmo. Tina has her own business and is doing very well and Kirk works as a Millwright. Yvette's 3rd born a son named Mark was born on June 3rd,1972. Mark is married to Linda and they have 2 children. They reside in Manitouwadge Ontario. Yvette's 4th born a son John( John John) was born on Sept 15th. 1973. John is married to Sarah and they have 2 children, a boy and a girl, the girl Krysten is the oldest,Jonah is the youngest. They live in Manitouwadge Ontario. Yvette seperated from John and married Omer Chasse, they have 2 daughters together, Brenda and Lori. Brenda is married to Fern and they had 3 children, their oldest daughter Emma died in London Ontario Hospital during open heart surgery,her little body did not accept the new heart,she passed away at 8 days old,very sad. Then Fern and Brenda had a son who is very healthy, his name is Jack. Her third born a daughter Brooklyn. They reside in Kirkland Lake Ontario. They were married in Elliot Lake Ontario. Yvettes other daughter Lori  has no children to report at this time and is  living on her own in Elliot Lake Ont. Yvette and Omer own a restaurant there,its called Yvettes Bar and Grill. They owned the restaurant for 19 yrs,Nov.1988 and they have just sold it as of January 31st 2007. They are planning on just enjoying their children and i imagine they will go and visit them. Janet,Noella and Jackie went down on Saturday Jan 27th,2007 to their closing of the restaurant party. Noella tells me it was so nice. All the people that have known them over the years signed a card for them and got them some type of statue made for them. It will be nice that they can relax and enjoy themselves now. Moms 7th child a daughter Jackie was born on November 20th,1946 in North Bay Ontario. Jackie married Danny Sr. Leduc on June 1st 1968 in North Bay. Danny and Jackie have 2 children, Danny Jr and Tammy Lee. Danny Jr was born on december 21st 1970. He  is married to Sandy and they have 2 children together, Aliya and Peyton. Danny and Sandy were married in North Bay,Ontario. They reside in West Minister in Vancouver Bristish Columbia. Danny and Jackies daughter Tammy was born on May 12th 1975 in North Bay,Ontario.Tammy married Jason Soutar and they have 2 daughters together, Breanna(Bree) and Bailey. Tammy has since divorced Jason and is presently engaged to Scott Mc Bride. They own their own business also. Scott and Tammy are getting married Sept 1st,2007 in Sturgeon Falls Ontario. They just opened up the biggest golf course in the world. It is located in Noelville Ontario. It opened in the Fall of 2006. Scott had been working on this plan for about 10 yrs or more. He does have 2 partners his brother Ed and a very good friend. Scott and Tammy presently live in North Bay with the 2 girls and Scott's 2 cats....

Mom gave birth to 7th child Diane. Diane was born on August 13th, 1954 in North Bay Ontario. Diane married Wayne Furrow and they had 2 daughters, Jennifer and Sara, Jennifer was born on June 23rd 1975 and passed away on April 28th 1995 at the age of 19. Jennifer passed away from Protein S deffiancy.This desease causes the blood to form many clots and she died from a huge clot that went into her heart from her right lung.(Pulmonary embolism). That was a very very sad day.. Sara is their youngest daughter she is married now and has 3 littel boys. Diane and Wayne still reside in North Bay as does Sara,her husband and 3 boys.

I am the youngest and I was born on April 20th 1957 in North Bay,Ontario. I married Bryan Petrant on November 1st 1975 and had 2 children with Him. Bryan was born on December 30th 1975 and Krista was born on July 12th 1977. Bryan married Julie Daoust. They have 2 children Alex born on January 4th 1994 and Kara was born on October 19th 1998. They live in North Bay.They just recently bought their second home at 118 Kathryn Crescent in North Bay. They sold their other home at 980 Douglas street, they had lived in that home for 4 yrs. Bryan works in Housekeeping at the North Bay General Hospitals. Julie works as a secretary for JKS Boils.  Krista is presently living common law ith Roger. She has a son from a previous relationship Braden, he was born on March 11th 1998. Krista and Roger have 2 daughters together. Jaylynn Marie Cook was born on April 24th 2005. Their second daughter Karley Ann Cook was born on December 7th 2006. They just bought their first home at 28 Charlton Crescent in North Bay. Krista works in Housekeeping at The North Bay General Hospitals and Roger works for Hamelin and Turf. I maried Robert Norman on June 9th 1984 and had a son with him. I had my tubes untied to get pregnant, therefore our son Eric who was born on May 24th 1985 was considered our miracle child. Eric is presently living commom law with his fiancee Justine Else and they have 2 daughters, Keanna who is 3 and Kassidy was born on May 24th 2006. They are both sweethearts. All my grandchildren are beautiful, I love them all to pieces.

This is just some info that i have put down about my moms children,grandchildren,great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

 I love you so so much Mom and you are so missed each and everyday. Your birthday is coming up on the 23rd of January. Happy Birthday Mom. we all miss you and love you. You were the Best Mom anyone could have. Wish you were here,but then again I could not wish you back again to suffer as you did.
